I started out designing and building websites, then spent several years working on B2B ecommerce software. At Thrive, I’ve worked with engineering teams on an employee communications app and its web admin tools, from defining features to reviewing the finished build. I recently moved to Germany and am looking for my next product design role here.

Reducing friction in a claims workflow

I simplified a dense internal process into a clearer sequence of decisions, actions and hand-offs.

The challenge

Claims work combines customer information, policy details, evidence and decisions. The existing journey made it difficult to understand what had happened and what needed attention next.

Following the work

I worked with subject-matter experts to map the workflow, then reorganised the interface around the case timeline and the next meaningful action.

A calmer workspace

The proposed structure reduced competing information and made status, ownership and exceptions easier to scan.
