Liam Ferguson

Product designer & developer

I design digital products and get them built.

I started out designing and building websites, then spent several years working on B2B ecommerce software. At Thrive, I’ve worked with engineering teams on an employee communications app and its web admin tools, from defining features to reviewing the finished build. I recently moved to Germany and am looking for my next product design role here.

Turning product screens into App Store stories

I designed a repeatable way to turn real product screens into a concise App Store story, so each customer’s screenshots no longer had to be rebuilt by hand.

The challenge

Every Thrive customer app needed a convincing App Store presence, but the screenshots had to accommodate different brands, content and device sizes. One-off artwork was slow to produce and difficult to keep consistent.

A system, not a template

I defined a small set of story beats, flexible layouts and content rules. The generator keeps the framing and hierarchy consistent while allowing each customer’s colour, copy and imagery to feel like their own.

The result

The team can produce a complete screenshot set quickly, with fewer layout decisions and a clearer product story across every frame.
