Liam Ferguson

Product designer & developer

I design digital products and get them built.

I started out designing and building websites, then spent several years working on B2B ecommerce software. At Thrive, I’ve worked with engineering teams on an employee communications app and its web admin tools, from defining features to reviewing the finished build. I recently moved to Germany and am looking for my next product design role here.

Bringing integrations into one App Store

I turned scattered integration settings into a place customers could browse, understand and manage themselves.

The challenge

Payments, reviews and communication tools lived in separate areas of the platform. Customers could not easily see what was available or which integrations were already active.

One model for every app

I designed states for available, installed, active and requiring configuration, then built a shared detail pattern that could accommodate very different integrations.

A visible ecosystem

The App Store made the platform’s connected services easier to discover while reducing the need for support-led setup.
